haha! thank you, vogue knitting, for the craziest patterns ever! This little anti-establishment number will be my prom dress. I have yet to add straps and make a belt for it...but that's another deviation. Yes, I knitted it by hand. Good times. It's not the most flattering thing in the world, but really, who gives a shit? Not me.

I love you. Marry me? In a knitted dress? Please?

I searched "prom dress" under "artisan crafts", in the hopes that SOMEONE would have thought to knit it by now, but this is the first one I've seen after searching through many results... So many duct tape dresses.

I'm a freshman, and I just started knitting, so I'm hoping to knit my prom dress, come senior year. This is really great!!! You're super cool.

was this done in the round?

no - it was done on circular needles knit flat in two pieces - front and back - and then sewn up the sides!
